I am an artist and educator based in Austin, TX. I instruct at several schools and colleges around the Austin and San Antonio area, and have done several sessions of open studio, basic fabrication and advanced techniques online over the past several months. I am available for one on one private instruction, commission, repair and resize work in both silver and gold as well as other metals such as copper, bronze and brass.
My own work tends to stem from the natural world as my reference of inspiration. An avid gardener and hiker, I find profound beauty in the textures, symmetry and repetition of organic materials that I come across in my everyday life and it blends into my artistic creations out of metal. I have long enjoyed combining materials with metal for texture and contrast, enjoy working in high end materials of stones and silver/gold and am at my best working closely with a client to combine our two visions together.
